Training Manager - Impact Evaluation
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs on impact evaluation for diverse stakeholders, including NGOs, government agencies, and private sector clients.Lead workshops and training sessions (in-person and online), adapting content and methodologies to various learning environments and levels of expertise.Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills among participants.Develop training materials, modules, and case studies tailored to the specific needs of trainees and project contexts.Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content relevance and alignment with global best practices in impact evaluation.Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through pre- and post-training assessments and participant feedback.Provide ongoing support, coaching, and mentorship to trainees to ensure the successful application of impact evaluation techniques in their projects.Manage relationships with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and participants, to ensure the successful delivery of training programs.Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and innovations in impact evaluation methodologies and tools.Ensure that all training activities align with the company’s strategic objectives and overall vision.

Educational Requirements
A Master's Degree in International Development, Social Science, Economics, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), impact evaluation, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a training or capacity-building role.Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs focused on impact evaluation, including both qualitative and quantitative methods.Strong understanding of M&E frameworks, theories of change, and impact evaluation methodologies (e.g., randomized control trials, quasi-experimental designs).Experience in developing training curricula and materials for in-person and virtual formats.Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., STATA, R, SPSS) and data visualization tools.Experience working in international development or humanitarian settings.
Additional Requirements
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of other languages (e.g., French, Spanish) is an asset.
- Experience working in multicultural and diverse environments.
- Familiarity with participatory and feminist evaluation approaches.
- Certification in professional training or facilitation is an asset.
- A strong commitment to capacity building and knowledge sharing.
